As employees of Push, we are all encouraged to get involved in our communities. Whether it is serving on the board of the local food bank or volunteering to be a lunch buddy at a local elementary school, we find it important to give back.
Our Columbia Bubble Man, Phil Bailey, is no exception.
April is a month dedicated to raising awareness for sexual violence and Phil is a board member with the Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands. He has been a board member for several years and is very passionate about this cause.
The 8th Annual Walk a Mile in Their Shoes takes place on Thursday, April 6th, 2017 at 5pm at the State House. This is an opportunity for men to put on women’s shoes (whether it be flats, wedges or high heels) and literally walk a mile. This is a fun event that not only creates awareness for this major issue, but also helps create a safe environment free of sexual violence.
